Product Owner/ Production Supervisor

Technobis Systems Supplier (TSS) is part of Technobis and specializes in carrying out complete product development from idea to successful turnkey, proto or (series) product, for medical, lifescience and high-tech industries operating in demanding environments. We are looking for a new colleague for our Assembly department:

         Product Owner (preferred fulltime)

What does the job involve:

We are looking for a Product Owner to supervise the implementation of the serial production of a medical device. The medical device, which will be used in hospitals, allows patients to breathe and keeps them under anesthesia during an operation. The device consists of a housing in which a number of modules are mounted. The modules consist of both (precision) mechanical and electronic components and in many cases are also equipped with software. Many of the modules are critical for the proper functioning of the instrument and therefore must be mounted with the greatest possible care and checked before being delivered to the client.

Main activities:

  • Setting up the serial production in our assembly area (process descriptions / routing of the product / environmental conditions)
  • Communication with the client regarding the implementation of the serial production (forecast planning / progress reporting)
  • Communication with the client regarding the implementation of client-specific designs
  • Communicating internally and with the client regarding engineering change requests
  • Planning / supervising the purchasing (starting call-off orders / other orders)
  • Planning / management of the assembly resources
  • Price calculations for (follow-up) series and client-specific options
  • Monitoring the quality of the delivery (on time / according to specifications / according to our ISO quality system)
  • Participating in ISO 13485 audits
  • Implementing improvements and optimization of the serial production

What do we ask:

Experience in the realization of medical instruments and multidisciplinary instruments. Knowledge and experience with ISO 13485 quality system. Good knowledge of the German language, speaking and writing.

Working with lean manufacturing.

Job requirements:

HBO level of education with a minimum of 3+ years, preferably 5+ years. Direction Mechanical engineering / Technical business administration. Accurate / planned personality with good communication skills. Do be proactive and have a sense of responsibility and spread it to colleagues
